Education has always been at the heart of Christian service and social transformation. Our founder exemplified this belief by dedicating his life to providing education for poor and marginalized children who had no means of receiving formal learning. He recognized that education is not only a path to knowledge but also a means of uplifting human dignity, nurturing faith, and empowering individuals to become responsible members of society. Through his example, the Sisters of Charity of Our Lady Mother of Mercy continue this apostolic mission bringing the light of learning and faith to those most in need.
The Sisters of Charity of Our Lady Mother of Mercy Day Care and Learning Center (SCMMDLC) was established as a concrete expression of this mission. Founded by the religious congregation of the Sisters of Charity of Our Lady Mother of Mercy, the SCMMDLC is dedicated to providing quality education and holistic development to preschool children ages three to five (3–5) especially to those who have not receive a formal education. The institution promotes the overall well-being of every learner by nurturing their intellectual, emotional, moral, and spiritual growth, guided by the values of the Gospel and the merciful love of God.
As a Catholic educational institution, SCMMDLC envisions molding young learners to become globally competent individuals who embody compassion, responsibility, and integrity. The school aims to form children who are not only academically prepared but also spiritually grounded stewards of creation and bearers of God’s mercy in their families, communities, and the world. In this way, the sisters continue their apostolic commitment to education as a vital means of evangelization and social transformation, inspired by the love of Christ and the charism of mercy.
