The presence of the Sisters of Charity of Our Lady Mother of Mercy began to blossom on Philippine soil in 1995. Guided by divine providence, the sisters came with a fervent hope that the congregation’s cherished spirituality of simplicity and mercy, deeply rooted in its founding charism, might be renewed and embodied in the hearts and lives of the people.

Through the dedication and missionary zeal of two pioneering sisters, the seed of the congregation’s mission took root once more, giving life to three vibrant communities: two in Manila and one in Nueva Ecija Lupao.

Through our SCMM-DLC School, St. Vincent de Paul Livelihood Center, and various pastoral and social ministries, we strive to uplift lives, uphold human dignity, and spread the light of God’s love — especially among those most in need.

As the years unfolded, the sisters continued to respond to the needs of the Church and society with compassion and creativity, each work reflecting the mercy and simplicity that define their vocation.

Today, as part of an International Province with communities in Brazil, the Philippines, and the United States, we continue to grow in unity and diversity, guided by a shared commitment to mercy in action.
