Mission of the SCMM Sisters is rooted in the spirit of Jesus Christ, who devoted Himself to serving others with compassion. We believe that we are called to reveal the loving face of God through our presence and service in the world. Since its inception, the SCMM Congregation has been committed to practicing compassion by responding to human needs in a tangible way, in accordance with the circumstances and challenges of the times. The SCMM mission can be summarized in two main points. First, to form ourselves into apostolic religious who live in prayer and service, following the example of Jesus Christ and Mary, Mother of Mercy. Second, to carry out charitable works and ministries of liberation that respond to the needs of the Church and society, in order to enhance human dignity and glorify God.
In the field of education, we place educational work as our primary ministry, in line with the spirit of the Congregation's founders. For us, education is not merely a process of transferring knowledge, but rather the formation of children's hearts so that they grow in the values of love, honesty, and responsibility. From the beginning, we have paid special attention to poor children and young girls, because we believe that they will one day become mothers who instill faith and moral values in the next generation.
In healthcare, we bring Christ's healing love, reaching out to the body, mind, and soul of each patient. In the social sphere, we serve through mentoring children, youth, women, and the elderly, managing orphanages, dormitories, and pastoral work as a tangible expression of compassion.
