To be a Christian is to live the Gospel in the practice of love, justice, and solidarity. The Sisters of Charity of Our Lady Mother of Mercy remain steadfast in this mission, working in communities and parishes, bringing God's merciful presence where life most needs to flourish.
With simplicity and dedication, our Sisters actively participate in the pastoral work of the Church, promoting living faith and commitment to human dignity. Inspired by the example of Christ, they bear witness that true charity is not limited to words, but is revealed in actions that transform realities and bring hearts closer together.
In social ministries, the Sisters take on a prophetic role, engaging in causes that defend the rights and lives of the poorest and most vulnerable. We believe that to be a Christian is to be committed to social justice, and that every person has the right to land, work, and bread—fundamental rights that guarantee the dignity of the sons and daughters of God.
Among the many services of evangelization and care, the following stand out:
Catechesis, which forms hearts in faith and love for Christ;
Pastoral Care of Children, which accompanies and supports families in promoting the life and health of children;
Pastoral Care of Minors, which fights for the protection, education, and social inclusion of children and adolescents in vulnerable situations.
In each community, the presence of the Sisters is a sign of hope and commitment to the Kingdom of God, where mercy becomes concrete action and love is transformed into service. Thus, we continue, with humility and faith, to make life a mission and mission a gesture of love.
