The Sisters of Charity of Our Lady Mother of Mercy are dedicated to transforming lives with love, faith, and social commitment. We believe that educating, welcoming, and serving others is showing hope and building a more just and humane future.
We maintain two schools: the Escolinha Mãe de Misericórdia, for children aged 3 to 5, and the Escola Madre Michele, for children aged 6 to 11, offering quality education, human values, and comprehensive training.
In our social projects, we welcome children, adolescents, and young people, offering sports, dance, music, tutoring, and healthy food, preventing risks and strengthening personal and social development.
At the Center for the Elderly, we care for 160 seniors aged 60 and over, providing crafts, cooking, dance, physical exercise, games, and literacy courses, promoting joy, health, and community life.
In addition, our Sisters work in communities and ministries of the Catholic Church, such as catechesis, the Children's Ministry, and the Youth Ministry, defending the rights of all and promoting social justice.
With faith and dedication, we continue our mission: to educate, welcome, and serve, spreading mercy and hope in every gesture.
