Continuation of the Working Visit to Brazil

Sisters Miranda and Elisângela continued their working visit to Brazil, visiting the communities of Heitel Santiago, Bayeux, and Cabedelo.

In Heitel Santiago, they were welcomed by Sisters Dalva, Lusinete, and Joérica, where the formation house is also located. It was an opportunity to get a close look at community life and observe the activities carried out by the sisters.

In Cabedelo, Sisters Kardenea and Graça welcomed the visitors to the community, where the Congregation also maintains a retreat house. On this occasion, the sisters met with the Cabedelo movement of mercy; it was a time of sharing and joy.

The visit continued in Bayeux, where Sisters Jéssica and Paula carry out their mission through the Congregation’s social projects.

Among these is the Dom Helder Câmara Foundation, which includes schools, a community center for the elderly, and other initiatives focused on care, education, and the promotion of life. The sisters in the visited communities are directly involved in the work carried out by the Foundation, collaborating on the various activities and services offered.

The visit was a very pleasant, fraternal, and productive experience. It was an opportunity to observe the sisters’ activities up close, gain a better understanding of the reality of each community, and strengthen the bonds of communion and collaboration that animate our mission.
