SCMM Pilgrimage 2025

Walking together in faith and mercy

On July 7, 2025, the SCMM Pilgrimage began, a special time of prayer, sharing, and spiritual renewal that brought together 20 Sisters of Charity of Our Lady Mother of Mercy from Indonesia, Brazil, the Philippines, and East Timor.

Throughout the journey, the group was accompanied with affection and closeness by the General Council, which actively participated in every moment of encounter, reflection, and celebration.

The Sisters made a pilgrimage to the Netherlands, the country where the Congregation of the Sisters of Charity of Our Lady Mother of Mercy was born.

There, they were able to deepen their knowledge of the history and charism, visiting the places that marked the beginning of the mission and community life of the first Sisters. It was a time to return to the roots, to listen again to the call that moved the founder, and to renew the commitment to live mercy in today's world.

The pilgrimage was a true experience of international communion, in which our Sisters strengthened the bonds that unite us as a religious family.

Guided by the Mother of Mercy, we continue to walk together, witnessing to the love and hope that spring from the heart of Christ.
